Only what you give us

When you submit a form on this site we collect your firm's website, your city, your practice area, your email address, and anything you write in the optional message field.

If you email us directly we hold that email and your address in our inbox, the same as any business would.

Our web host records standard server logs including IP addresses. If we run analytics, it is configured without advertising features and without selling data to third parties.

To answer you, and nothing else

We use what you submit to prepare the report or price you requested and to reply to you. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together and for as long afterwards as our accountants and tax obligations require.

If you don't become a client, tell us and we'll delete your enquiry.

Our tools, not our partners

Form submissions and email pass through service providers we use to run the business - a web host, a form handler, and an email provider. They process this data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We will disclose information if the law requires it. We will not disclose it because someone asked nicely.

Ask and we'll do it

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@seoforalawyer.com and we'll action it within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We apply the same process to everyone regardless.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
